Fluid

I once stood vast
mighty as rock enduringly immobile
declaring I was dependable.

Is stone not strong?
Does it not hold?
Is it not still there tomorrow?

But even rock crumbles
when hit like hammer on anvil
never to gaze upon the world again.

Now I return
gently swaying like grass upon the breeze
saying this is the way to be

Bend to hear the other
no thing is the same
Love is truly mightier than the rock
it's like water finding the way.
